Tom McCarthy is a singer songwriter who appreciates the beauty and power of a well written song. He is a long time member of the Nashville Songwriters Association. When he performs, Tom likes to say he plays two kinds of songs: “songs I wrote -- and songs I wish I wrote.”

 

This website features songs Tom wrote. Most of the recordings are simple demos with Tom on guitar and singing. A few are more complete with other instruments and voices. Tom thanks John Fritz at Fritz Studios and Joe McCargar at River City Studios for their time and talent in making these recordings.
